Packaging & Recycling Information
Dancop is committed to reducing packaging waste and supporting a circular economy. We continuously optimize our packaging solutions to minimize environmental impact while ensuring safe and efficient transportation of our products. This page provides information about the packaging materials used for our products, the measures we have already implemented to reduce packaging waste, and guidance on how packaging should be sorted and recycled according to local regulations.
- Our packaging is designed to minimize empty space and unnecessary air inside the packaging during transport. This helps reduce packaging volume and improves transport efficiency.
- Plastic adhesive tapes have largely been replaced with paper-based adhesive tapes. In addition, plastic document pouches have been replaced with paper-based document pouches.
- Filling material is partially produced from used cardboard packaging and reused for product protection purposes. This allows packaging materials to be utilized multiple times.
- Euro pallets are primarily used for shipping and are returned to a standardized pallet exchange pool, allowing them to remain in continuous reuse circulation.
- Bubble wrap used for product protection has largely been replaced with paper-based protective materials. Furthermore, Styrofoam blocks have mostly been replaced with cardboard honeycomb structures.
- Standard hand stretch film has been replaced with PE hand stretch film made from recycled material containing approximately 80% recycled content, including at least 51% post-consumer recycled (PCR) material.
- In addition, PET and PP strapping bands made from recycled plastic materials are used for transport securing and pallet stabilization.
