Senior Accountant / Financial Accountant (m/f/d) – Peine, Germany
Dancop International GmbH is an internationally active company specialising in industrial safety solutions and wholesale distribution. To strengthen our finance team at our Peine (Lower Saxony) location, we are looking for a Senior Accountant / Financial Accountant (m/f/d) on a full-time basis.
In this role, you will take full operational responsibility for the financial accounting of several legal entities and actively contribute to the internalisation and further development of the accounting function.
Your Responsibilities as Senior Accountant / Financial Accountant (m/f/d)
- Independent responsibility for financial accounting for multiple entities (Germany & Denmark)
- Accounts receivable and accounts payable accounting, including posting of all incoming and outgoing invoices
- Execution of payment transactions and monitoring of open items
- Bank reconciliations, travel expense and employee expense accounting
- Preparation of monthly financial statements and support in the preparation of annual financial statements in accordance with HGB
- Independent calculation, reporting and filing of VAT returns
- Primary contact for external partners such as tax advisors and auditors
- Support in the optimisation and structuring of accounting processes
- Close collaboration with management as a financial sparring partner
Your Profil
- Completed commercial training or degree with a focus on Finance, Accounting or Business Administration
- Several years of professional experience as a Financial Accountant, Accountant or Senior Accountant
- Sound knowledge of German GAAP (HGB)
- Structured, accurate and reliable working style
- Very good German language skills, written and spoken
- Good English skills for communication in an international environment
